About Me

How

Did I Get Into This?

I became a sort of UX Generalist by way of Cartooning. Actually there’s more of a straight line here than you might think:

  • Both prioritize stripping your message down to the most essential parts
  • Rhythm and storytelling are key
  • Being able to “suggest” an idea is sometimes more useful than showing the full thing
  • Any bit of humor really helps

I could go on, but you get it. All that to say, if you really want to chat some more about this, definitely shoot me an email and we can talk shop.

My

Design

Philosophy

Good design isn't some fixed "perfect" layout, it's an elastic framework that understands no two users will experience this in the same way. It's rooted in accessibility first and foremost, it's responsive, and it's (hopefully) pleasant to use and to look at.

A good design that works at one fixed size for one fixed audience isn't good design at all.
